DEW Beta · Free
runs on the web

A web workspace

One workspace for your AI, tools, and projects.

Bring your AI. Bring your tools. Keep your work and credentials on your computer.

DEW runs on the web. DEW Local securely connects it to the things you own — your files, your accounts, your AI — and does the work there, on your machine.

how it works: enter your invite, then connect DEW Local when asked.

How it fits together

The web

dew.artificialu.space

Where you talk to DEW and do the work. Nothing to install to start looking around.

Your computer

DEW Local

  • Your projects
  • Your credentials
  • Your AI & tools

These stay here. DEW asks DEW Local to do things — it never sends your secrets to the cloud.

The short version

What is DEW?

A workspace, in your browser, that coordinates your AI, tools, and projects in one place instead of a dozen tabs and apps.

Why is it different?

DEW runs on the web, but your work, credentials, and connected AI stay on your computer through DEW Local. You use it like a website; you own your data like a local app.

What do I need?

Your own AI and tool access — an API key, a local model, accounts you already have. DEW does not include paid AI usage; you bring your own, and it stays yours.

What does “beta” mean?

Free, unfinished, and improving. Things will be rough. Your feedback goes straight to the people building DEW and can directly shape what it becomes.

When DEW needs your AI

Download DEW Local

Start in your browser. When DEW needs to reach your AI, files, or accounts, it asks you to run DEW Local on your computer — then paste the same invite you started with.

How your data is handled. Your projects and credentials are not stored as a permanent copy in DEW's cloud. DEW Local keeps them on your device and performs authorized work there. DEW is designed and tested not to retain your work or credentials in the cloud — the coordination service passes requests through; it isn't a second home for your files.
